I'll be brave and say what I do. 5ltr empty can, stick the nic in, fill up with water to the top. Shake then flush

How minging is minging flavourtank? It would have to be pretty rank for me to bin anything I must admit, being at heart a tightwad! If it really is past it's best, then I'd just flush it down the loo or sink . . . . with lots of water to dilute the potency.

Can I turn this thread 90 degrees please, I should (and do) have a good understanding but just need some clarification, I Have close to 2 litres of 75mg (vg based) nic that had an official shelf life expiry of sept 2014. However it has been frozen for around 2 years , not solid frozen as it doesnt freeze, I omitted transferring this nic into glass when I should have, you guys think im ok to thaw and mix this or shall I count my losses and bin it?

I'd mix some and give it a whirl before doing anything rash.

Yeah Cheers Greg, I have a half litre bottle on thaw as we type, Close to £300 in uk prices worth in storage and I wont ditch it without a fight, but at the same time id rather it didnt poison me. Im reasonably confident it will be fine to use.

I'll mix a bottle over the next few days when I get some fresh VG/PG delivered, Ill try it at normal percentages and see if I get cravings before I mix it too high

Give it a go mate and feedback, helps us all if the worst happens.... flavourtank yea flush it down the loo, be fine, it's a "waste" drain, already diluted nic won't do any harm.

I'm using Nic Base that is over 4 years ' frozen ' Skwoddy . . . . seems absolutely fine to me, without the benefit of any scientific testing of course. Decanting into Amber glass bottles would have been bestest, but I'd still give it a whirl without hesitation. It won't poison you, just be less effective, ie 72mg might of dropped to 62mg, think it tastes peppery when off.. The potency may have peaked off with not being stored in glass . . . . but all Nic does have a peppery undertone to it, to a greater or lesser degree letsavit.

Thanks Mandy, Im happy to try it based on your experience, and being one of the original guys that gave Rich at nicvape some custom while i was last on the scene, you were the one i was waiting to hear from, i understand that nicotine never goes off but the vehicle (pg/vg) does break down with contact to oxygen, brimmed glass bottles with limited opening is best and small bottles to avoid unnecessary opening of larger vessels. I also understand that expiry dates on Pharma products by law have to have 12 months maximum as their expiry regardless of the state of the product, 1-2 years shelf life is normal for pg and vg with low light conditions so I expect that frozen products may have differences as long as the oxygen is kept out. Thanks all, I'll keep you updated for experiences sake Barry
