I had some steeping from early November ... Tried it every week after  a 4 week steep and all I have ever got was cheesecake.
Gave up on it a couple of weeks ago and gave it away to my grandson.
Perps custardy lovechild or Grants vanilla custard v4 are much nicer IMHO.

Hmmm can you point me to the recipe for the GVC V4 please?

8% capella vanilla custard v1
4% capella cake batter
2% TPA malted milk
1% capella butter
1% TPA ethyl maltol
1% TPA sweetner

Personally I'm finding potential in kk but for my taste it's way too weak on the custard side.
I think I'll try again but I'm going to double the VC percentage.
Like they say taste is very subjective and boy I'm finding that out

The main disappointment for me is I'm used to VC2 and crossing to VC1 I was expecting a wow factor from all I've read.
But so far it's not even a contender for VC2

I felt the same. Dont doubke it tho jonny. It will be too much i reckon mate. Just ad a percent or 2 to every flavouring.

TFA custard adds a different taste when mixed with cap custard in a mix ( not this mix )
