The page I linked was for the whole joetech egrip range, I just clicked it myself and it went somewhere else
I signed up for e-mail notification for stock so when they come in I'll post here.

I must say I have mixed feelings about the e-grip. With a bit of persistence and some help from blakey I did mange to get the RBA up and running without chucking out juice on a regular basis. However, after very little use the battery life went down to very little and finally I couldn't charge it up at all. Fair play to Joytech UK though, they sent me a replacement and a pre-paid envelope to return the old one and now it is working OK - though I wouldn't say the battery life is great. It is very good though when you getting working correctly.

If I have understood this thread correctly, it is now possible to get a CL base that would fit the old egrip and use the Ego One CLR coils which are not so fussy in terms of rebuilding compared to the original RBA?

Alternatively there is the option of getting the new egrip OLED which will take the CLR coils. I notice though that there is a CS and a CL version of the OLED, so it would presumably have to be the CL version

Yes, the cl version takes the cl coils and they are very good indeed. I also got the cl bases and they fit the original egrip and work an absolute treat. This is how the egrip should've been.

Meant to say I have the rebuildable base but cant't get on with it so I use the aspire coils (not the nautilus ones) and just swap the bottom pin over and it's tons better.

No, you need the CL base to allow the egrip to accept CL coils

Not had so much as a gurgle, mind you, the standard rba base didn't leak if it was wicked properly

I wish I could say the same blakey...............No matter how I wick it, the bugger still leaks......Not profusely, but it leaks...............It's my only gripe with this mod, apart from it's limited battery life..........If I could cure that, I would willingly ditch all my other vaping gear & keep a nest of these........I reckon it gives the best vape of all the mods I have..........& that includes squonkers.

You're in for a treat with the CL then mate

Just remember when you recoil the rebuildable CL heads that you need to wrap around a 2.5mm former

Well that's it, clicked on the fastech link and oh they had a lovely light blue cl one so I could'nt resist and I'd pressed BUY before I knew it! Now for the waiting game!!
