Ok, I will tell you a nice story. The carts at my local supermarket are jammed together, making it difficult, especially for seniors to pull one out. Last week, when I entered the store, an elderly gentleman was having trouble getting a cart and a young lady customer was helping him to get one and get through the second door that leads into the store. It's nice to see courtesy like that, so I pulled a cart free from the pile and gave it to her.

Stitch/ Womble my sisters fiancé is mostly a stay at home Dad, my sister earns the most money and loves her job so a no- brainer, he works mostly nights and weekends so she still gets her QT.
Anyway I have rant which is buses firstly why do people stand as is if they are getting on the bus when in fact they are waiting on the one behind ? Why not get out the way and let the people who actually want to get on that bus get on? Especially when they are tiny wee and the bus driver can't see you so they move off , grrr ...
The next could be seen as intolerant but really gets my goat why do elderly/disabled people always stand up when the bus is still moving? When the bus gets too the stop they then get off the bus SLOWLY and all the able bods behind are held up, if they waited for the bus to stop not only would it be far easier for them to move on a stationary bus , it would also mean the driver had time to lower the floor to make getting off the bus easier for them , it just makes sense plus I'd be half way home by the time they get off the bus!
Anyway better stop I have loads of rants about buses I should really take the car, but that would cost me at least £50 a week with parking the bus costs less than that a month ...

At least you don't have to put up with driver's who seem to have forgotten how to use their indicators, taking the bus Kirsty. It's cold comfort, but that gets on my wick as well, trying to second guess which direction people intend going in.

I don't like it when you get the door for somebody in need of it, then perfectly able people skip through too, and you end up holding it for ages, happened to me the other day, in the end I held it for about 10 people, then as a young couple were about to walk through I kind of lost it a little, jumped through and said "sorry, I don't want to be here all day." Felt bad after, as I didn't even know if they were going to try and go through, or just wait, they did laugh and say "no worries" though. Westfield Derby has excellent parent and baby facilities, for mums and dads Public owned buildings in Derby, swimming pools, libraries etc, usually have changing facilities for babies in the mens. The Supermarket I use has a baby changing room, for use by both mums and dads. I must be lucky, because I don't think I struggled anywhere when mine were that age.
