I would keep a close eye on the wild rat as they can carry some diseases which
can be transmitted over to the domestic rat. My 4 are called smokey,gizmo,monty
and mojo.

re linky for pet planet cage (tis not expensive) and also linky for fuzzbutts (though she's on holiday till tomorrow but makes amazing choobs and hammocks and good prices too!!!) I have 3 cages  Two medium sized ones while they're getting used to each other and a large one ready for when they're fully integrated. Definitely going to have to get them some hammocks and stuff though! They've both got a couple of things but it's time to expand I reckon. |

He's had his checks he's clean, no mites, diseases etc. Which is very lucky really, I suppose he was quite young though when I got him. |

A lot of rat toys can be made cheaply
For ropes i use an old sheet cut into strips and pleated.
Plastic flowerpots with doors cut out for a house, or stuff
it full of bedding for a hammock type thing.
Old kitchen roll tubes, ping pong balls.
Nemmy would make a good name.
