Well thats a bit of a shocker !! After reading about beedee getting a fake product I sent a ticket to Gearbest asking them if any of the items I'd ordered we're fakes (everything i'd ordered said it was original or authentic) & if they we're then I'd prefer not to have them & have a refund. So they've just replied to me: Dear customer, Thank you very much for contacting us. We have cancelled your order and will process your refund immediately.You will receive the refund in your account balance in approximately 3-5 days,the precise time depends on the payment provider. In the meantime if we can be of any further assitance to you,please feel free to to contact us at your earliest possible convenience.we are always happy to help our valued customers. Thank you very for your continued support and understanding. kinda funny really could have been a mixup at gearbest warehouse and all going crazy thinking they sending out fakes where it could have been an easy mistake but hay ho life goes on

I can't see the evic being fake and especially not the subtank as they come with a authenticity code couldn't really say about the rest though.

Its an admission that the products weren't authentic........which is weird as others on here have ordered eVic mini's & they havent had any issues But like you say, life goes on....just glad I've had the refund already.

I've got an order in with GB at the moment markus, on the fence here whether to cancel or not. With the response you've had and what has happened with beedee and car147, I might hang fire until there is a response from isabel22 before making a final decision.

Prob best to striker, Isabel is really nice & helpful. If it is a misunderstanding then so be it, Im just happy the money has been refunded , although in the paypal notes it said "partial" but theyve refunded the full amount & theres no charges.

Think in your position markus, you've had the best outcome especially when you were dealing with other peoples money for some of the goods. Better the way its turned out rather than try to explain a handful of scrap metal and crap electrics to friends.

Thats your opinion......like Ive already said..They could have replied saying all the items I'd ordered were genuine & not to worry....I would have been happy with that reply & any concerns I'd had would have been resolved!......If its miscommunication then thats an issue they need to sort when dealing with customers from other countries. But they didnt, I'm more than happy to get the refund & if it means spending a few £ more buying them from another supplier with better feedback from customer sales then so be it. Like chrissie has said in another thread "If it wasn't for the help that isabel22 gives in sorting out issues, Gearbest would have lost their vendor status a long tine ago" So obviously i'm not the only one to have issues with them.....as can be seen hereGlad its sorted now.

I think the problem this time was purely a language one, I have noticed when placing a ticket that the person at the other end rarely understands what I'm saying and I have to reword the question until I get my point across, I am a little surprised that they went straight down the refund route though, but it really does depend on how the ticket was worded, everything I've had from GB has been advertised as 'authentic' and has proved to be so.
