I'm after some of those little white/clear rubber ring top cover seals that go over the chimney but the longer ones are the ones I want for Protank 2's, I've tried using another short one upside down but on my 'clone' protanks but they don't work and I get leakages all over the place If anyone has some knocking around or can point me in the right direction on Slowtech or anywhere else, tried Ebay but they only have the short ones that I can find. Ta muchlies

bung 'silicone' into fasttechs search box and order the results cheapest first and quite a few options appear on the first page.. www.fasttech.com/search?silicone

Dunno what results yours bring up phatfil but there definitely isn't any chimney type coil things on there, lots of drip tip covers but I'm after the actual chimney cover for the coils

why fit them upside down are you trying to use single coils in dual coil tanks?

If the base part of the head is the longer one TJ then you need to rest a flavour wick on top of the coil beacuase the slots in the head are longer. The flavour wick only needs to be very thin but it just fills up the increased slot size.

Thanks prr , Perpetua , Clivia , phtumshk, the coils are the taller chimney dual type ones and in my original protanks the extra wick trick on top works but in the clone ones it doesn't unfortunately and they still leak into the base, the only fix so far has been the longer chimney cover

That's a PITA TJ, I've certainly seen the longer ones from the Ebay chappie, although he doesn't appear to have them currently. Might be worth contacting him to see if he'll have them again?

Ta again prr , I'll ask that chappie on Fleabay to see if he has any to list and if not then I'll wing them down to you to have a look at, it's a pain in the butt keep mopping the bases out all the time and vaping bubbles & gurgles

Buy 1/2 a meter of this silicone tube. (3.2mm I.D) Snip a piece off about 5 - 6mm long and slip it over the single coil chimney. Its how I used to run single coils in my protanks & how nature vape (and the other 1s I still cant remember the name of)do theirs. Like this but dont forget to put the original cup on first.

Thanks phtumshk, yes that's makes them sit properly in the tank, I have them from Unicoils but it doesn't stop the leaking unfortunately. At the end of the day they are clone tanks so I didn't expect them to be perfect but at the same time I really don't fancy using their stock coils, far prefer my single micro-coils in them. I've sent the Ebay chappie a message to see what he has.

Hi TJ, I got a small bag of used coils on Wednesday there, just had s rummage through them and unfortunately there are only two of the larger rubber seals, you are welcome to them if you want to pm your address, they at least might see you through until you can get what you are looking for. I'll ask another couple of the good chaps at work, I know that their good ladies use pro tanks but they don't recoil, to see if they have any of the correct sized ones.
