What ohm with 40w Istick?

Prob a really silly question but just ordering some bits to get started and not sure what coils i need to buy to use in tanks with a 40w Istick as I've seen 1.6 up to 2.5 and don't understand the differences yet?

I use 30W iSticks Angie uses the 40W.

We both vape on coils from 1.6 to 1.8 Ohms at 10 to 13 Watts using Nautilus Mini tanks.

Thank you. Sorry for all the questions but I've just found a protank 2 I forgot i bought ages ago but can only find 2.2 or 2.5 coils to buy. Will there be a lot of difference compared to a mini nautilus with 1.8? Sorry i think i need to go and read up on coils!

You can get 1.8 for your Protank 2...I use Protank 2's all the time...

but after saying that...they really are not the latest, or best tanks any longer...but I'm an old-fashioned kind of gal...& they do me just fine ( I don't sub-ohm )

I'm sure folks on here will advise you on more up-to-date equipment...good luck & keep asking for advice xxx

Thanks, yeah i know they're not the latest but thought I might as well try and use it if only for trying out new flavours. I am about to order a mini nautilus though!

When you get the mini make sure you prime the coil very well before firing it.

With the coil head screwed into the base put a few drops of liquid from the top of the coil head onto the mesh disc. Then put a couple of drops on each of the 4 holes.  Fill the tank making sure not to overfill or liquid will go down the 'chimney'.

Before screwing the base to the tank put liquid on the chunky silicone seal on the top of the base. This makes the base easy to undo when you next need to fill the tank. Do not overtighten it - fingertight is enough or it will be difficult to undo. Screw the tank onto the iStick and leave for 5 minutes.

Take a short draw without firing the device. You should see a small air bubble rise from the bottom of the tank. We usually start to fire it at 9 Watts for a few puffs gradually increasing the Watts until we get a satisfying vape.

We settled on the iStick Nautilus Mini combination over a year ago and haven't found anything to beat it.

Sorry to be a pain again, don't suppose you've got a link for the protank 2 coils? I can't seem to find any in the UK?

Thanks so much for taking the time to write all that, will follow it all when get it all here. Wouldn't of known to do any of that!
Just need to find very simple instructions on how to use the Istick because I'm sure it won't be as simple as it looks

I don't buy them, because I have mine re-coiled by prr

If you buy some...he will re-coil them for you.

I think Virtual Vape also sell them.

Thank you, they've only got 2.2 and 2.5 ones for Protank 2 that i can see but will kepp checking. Thank you.
