Look at the model number - I found Maplins had replacement ones
for mine even though it is around 15 years old. Not cheap but worth it
as soldering those tiny wires needs a fine tip.

sandra thats sounds good....i been looking at a way to rewick my ce2s(love em) perhaps with a ss mesh. theres a blob of solder at top where coil meets the connection wire but dunno if possible. theres also a paperclip mod on ecf....looks silly thou
yeh the puro looks like theres a hel of of a lot of wick in there..theres 4 strands plus sum wrapped around the centre column which i cant work out what its for?
nice video here showing how to open them up(in polish or s'thing thou.
