www.darkstarvapour.co.uk/is where ive recently bought 1l from cost inc shipping circa £60 but i didnt apply any dizzy codes.. i have also bought from www.piratesvape.uk/ before but they are not the cheapest, but the do boast loudly about the quality and the nic base was shipped in a heavy amber glass bottle and substantially packed.. the litre from darkstar came in 2 x 500ml translucent plastic bottles.. hope thats helpful..

Theres a discount code for Dark Star nic, only works on orders of 500ml or more..... 500-DSNIC So its slightly cheaper to buy 2 500ml than 1ltr at the moment.....(if you wanted 1ltr that is) It takes £2.10 off each 500ml you buy so 1ltr works out at about £55 including p&p

The TPD seems to refer to refills. I am not sure, does anyone know for certain? Nick

I didn't realise that. Another one bites the dust. Are these closures as a result of the TPD legislation - Big Tobacco has already won it seems Nick

Nick Banning the uncontrolled (by the Government) sale of Nicotine base is an easy way for the Government to implement part of the TPD and claw back tax revenue. As a smoker you used to be able to buy cigarettes from abroad over the internet from Europe (free trade in Europe?) but this was stopped (an easy way for the government to ensure you paid all the taxes on UK bought cigarettes). I think that Approved Companies or juice suppliers will still be able to buy nicotine base from Government approved suppliers but the companies will have to have a special license to sell the products to the Public which will cost a lot of money to get. However they will only be able to supply bottles of flavoured E liquid no greater than 10ml in size and 20mg strength if they do anything other than this then they may have their license revoked. The Government will them be able to also control the cost of the nicotine base which I guess will rise dramatically so juice prices may well rise dramatically. It's too hard for the Government to stop people buying devices but nicotine base is an easy thing for them to control, I predict this is where the strangle hold will come from for Vapers who use nicotine containing liquids, if you vape Zero Nicotine you'll probably be okay.

Jason's certainly weren't as he himself has said. Having your own business of any kind, although it has its advantages is a huge commitment and can be a shed load of stress, worry. Personal circumstances can also change over time causing a re-think. Time will tell next year the impact of any new legislation the TPD may bring on our particular Vendors . . . . .

Whatever the reasons I wish them all luck - retail can be a brutal industry, particularly if you are small. I admire them for making it work. Nick
