I had read on some of my first days on these boards about E-liquids and that some "fresh" can taste not right and you reject them out of hand. Stupidly I didn't follow the great advice thread for Newbies and went and bought a large 30ml Marlboro liquid from Freedom Vape, I hated it. Last night I got bored with my my usual Waffle flavour and wanted something with a bit more poke and smoke, so loaded up a cart with some of the Marlboro from Freedom Vape and it tastes amazing now, good throat hit and good taste. So since I went mad in those first few days and bought all manor of flavours that I rejected I am going to revisit some of them now I am a few weeks down the line and see what they are like. It appears e-liquids are a like a good bottle of wine, leave them and they can go from distinctly average to amazing in a few weeks

Yep, I never touch a new juice till it's steeped for at least a couple of weeks, unless it's one of griz's samples that have been pre-made and ready steeped

you keep juice in the fridge????
Does that keep it better???
I ask because I bought a larger bottle of my favourite juice, did my best to keep it in the cupboard, where it's dark... but towards the end it didn't taste it's best.

Yes mate, all juice stays in the fridge. It stands to reason that keeping something chilled will slow down any degradation. You might want to try giving that juice of yours a good shake before you write it off in case some of the ingredients have settled.

I should have said, I shake it every time... on Jason's advice if I remember correctly.
Will try storing it in the fridge, but I have little ones, and they are allowed to get themselves drinks and things out of the main fridge, so maybe I'll have to dust off the old mini fridge, and see if it fits on the top shelf of the cupboard.

juices do benefit from a couple of weeks steep.... also you are 6 weeks without the cigarettes and your taste buds and sense of smell have recovered quite a bit i'd imagine

You can also store eliquid in your freezer Alvo, if that's more little fingers safe . . . it won't freezer solid, but will keep indefinietly that way. You'll just need to let it come back up to room temperature before you use it, for it to taste at it's best. Although if you're going for long term storage, a couple of years plus, it's better to decant the liquid into glass bottles as flavours can leech in plastic bottles.
