That's double my wattage, almost... how do you do it? If I go above 5 volts, 8.3 watts, on a Boge SR / LT Combo, it tastes really burnt Is that because of the filler in the cartomiser?

Oh I don't have no understanding of ohms ect. I just adjust the voltage & go That's the beauty of a VV device like the lavatube you got there Hissie. Just up or down the voltage to suit what you like for flavour, warmth, vapour and throat hit that you like. To answer your original question, there is no set voltage that'll do it for anyone and it depends on cart resistance, type of cart (clearo, wadded etc.,) and the juice you are vaping but there is a set wattage which will do it for people like Verey explained.

Yeah, you can't hit really high with filler material it burns. My RTA (rebuildable tank atty) uses a tank with no filler and stainless steel wick to get the juice to the coil so you can get much higher output before you get burning.

I'm with macca on this - I hardly ever use cartomisers now. Of course there are a number of good clearomiser type tanks! What I find as well though is that with some things there is kind of a trade off between power and flavour, so although I tend to like the 8 - 9 watts range, some of the time with some things I am quite happy with less.

Yeah, I don't blast all flavours. Fruit flavours die quite badly if they get too hot. I vape watermelon at 9 watts for instance.

I use a tank on mine and have it set on 3.7, Same here Bel when using LR, but up to 4 or 4.2 with SR.
