OOOOH nice looks to be pretty much bang on to the authentic, same battery cap, same 510, same switches, same markings.
I'm guessing the only difference is it won't be stabilised wood and i would imagine the chip is a clone job.
I'm not fussed about being a clone chip.
Where can i get a single piece?

They're sometimes flexible on dhgate if you contact the seller. Failing that group buy??

juice well looks shallower and wood at top rough, recess on tactile differs too, but yes very close.........lets see if mines even got a DNA40 in it first...! First hurdle...

Off to google.....

Hardened in a vacuum normally with a resin. It's used in knife handles for posh peeps. Oh and it can have some beautiful effects.

It came today, very nice mod...the wood, the carving, came from These guys.





Haven't got time to take apart fully today something needs unsoldering etc. But may well not, I know there was different versions of the small screen, five I think. All my other have a blue tint, this ones white more like the large screen.....

The screen alone is not conclusive, Evolv sell them with out screens and even many of the clones use the same screen as Evolv. Apparently different batches of phosphor cause slightly different screen shade. If you can fine a pic of how the wood was cut on the inside I bet the clones are not 1:1 there.

Ok mate thanks, don't want to take apart fully yet to see the board in case it's real and I balls it up. not sure what's holding it....but the wood Finish and carving seem too good for a clone.

It's not, opened it enough to see the board with a torch, there's no DNA40 in there....the I seller who runs a shop Tuxedo knew it too as soon as I messaged him he offered me a discount....£70 ... It's actually a very nice clone so I said £30.....got a bit heated so in the end I said cut the bullshit or I will return it myself personally I'm in north London often.

Anyway now to find a nice clone, this one can't be the only one made be nice to find this one again....for 30quid....

I didn't think it was going to be real. You can't trust anything on eBay these days. If it was real it wouldn't be offered for sale on eBay in the first place.

If the seller sold it to you as real he should be shot, but report him first if his auction description doesn't state it's a clone/copy/fake.
