New mod maybe needed & SS wire Q

Hi all, my vt40 510 threads are about knackered and hopefully our very own Windows might be able to do something with it. Anyway this has got me looking at new tc mods as my daughter has either lost or broken my spares. So far I'm looking at the evic vtc mini or the smok X cube mini, I'm slightly favouring the X cube as it appears to give me more options including the use of SS wire.

So, any advice on decent reliable tc mods would be massively appreciated or opinions on the two I've mentioned. Also any info on building with SS wire, I wouldn't even know where to source it, there doesn't seem to be much info around on it. I have no problems with ni200 but I wonder if the SS wire is any better.

I've never seen them in stock, maybe I've just missed them but I believe I heard someone mention they had been waiting months. I did email them yesterday, still awaiting a reply.

Wismec Reuleaux RX200 has SS mode.

Get Off My Cloud I should have said I want something in the uk preferably single 18650, the vt40 lasts me nearly the whole day. Thank you though mate it's appreciated that you posted a link.

If you use the charge port on the vt40 why not go down the lipo route with a @windows dna200 with a 900mah at least you know you've got his support and it should easily last you a day.. I used my efusion for about 9 hours today at 110w (has a 1300mah by the way).. Just a suggestion as it wouldn't be much bigger than a single 18650..
My newest dna200 build is 85x45x28mm and the vt40 is 87x47x24mm I believe JayJ

The Evic VTC Mini and the Presa 75w are the only single 18650 mods i can think of that support SS in temp mode.

or this which is the one I quoted the size for above, I'm not sure on the sizes of them that windows has posted but the blue one is a similar size I believe, very small and compact I just want the real evolv enclosure @windows or I would have nabbed one of these myself.

Ive seen somewhere that the blue/black one is now being done by someone in cnc'd ally, just cant remember where.

Looking at them photos now the top one looks the same/similar that I posted, is it the slim one of the purple @windows ?
94x46x24 for the blue
87x47x42 for the purlple depending if it has the extended back or not it may be slightly bigger..
And windows can only say for the metal enclosure as it's a size I'm not so familiar with maybe a 1550p (80x55x25) ?

im an evic mini fanboy so would be happy to recommend one of them, with the latest V2 of the s/w (easy to apply, if not already loaded) it supports SS, Ni200 and titanium wire builds
Each with its own dedicated TC Mode, easy to use, and a nice small comfortable handfeel

@windows if funds could stretch to it I'd be very tempted to up my budget a little and invest in something a little better from you. It's this flippin Christmas mularkey and buying gifts for people other than myself, bah humbug....

I do/did love the vt40 in temp mode, I don't need to run big power. The size of the mod suits me, single 18650. Its perfect for me with a subtank mini built at about 0.09 ohms, red astaire, set at 420f at around 17/18w.

JayJ they are taking orders now (Availability: end of Dec/Jan), so are the DNA200 enclosures if anyone else interested in them.
