That's a fair point VapingBad, can't pass comment on that, as neither of mine are the Velocity deck version. Does look like it could be a PIA to get a good fix on the coil without actually cutting through the wire with the end of the securing grub screw.

I got tempted to get a Crius today, got it in the basket at MyEpack then went to FT for a price check and remembered my main reason for rejecting then the post holes. The screw holes go right through and will not be good with temp limiting or any thin wire, the first version of the Velocity deck on the Aromamizer was the same and they soon fixed it, so I will keep an eye on the Crius to see if they follow suit. I didn't buy a Crius because of this. This is why AAEC is so damned good!! Thanks for the heads-up VapingBad, I'll check this out carefully before spending! I bought a Lush dripper from Mofoto this morning, just over 20 smackers, and I now have to find the time to build it and try it out.

Hopefully your concerns might draw a few comments from anyone who has the Velocity style deck version VapingBad. It's maybe a bit of an injustice calling it a velocity deck, as the post holes don't go straight through on the authentic or clone RDA. May only look a small detail to the eye but it could make a big difference as to how the atty will work.

I got two crius on the way and ill just do as I did with my magma dripper. Use the spare screws in from the back so the wire rests against the screw :ie one on each side of the wire. If that don,t work which I think it will be fine , ill make new posts up at work.I need to do some bits so I can run them in single coil mode if I want anyways.

That won't work because the grub screws are too long, you'll have to cut them down to size to fit them in between the posts

I've not got one btw, got an aromiser after I noticed you and vapingbad rated them

Another thing I really like with the Aromamizer is it is so easy to take the tank off ad test fire you coils or check how mucky the coils and wicks are. Normally I don't like bottom fill but these are so easy and doesn't ware out the 510.
So far I deffo prefer horizontal coils, with exactly the same coils I get a great vape at 355 F horizontal but 405 F when vertical, yes I did do a cotton scorch test on the horizontal. But that is with 100% PG so YMMV with the gloopy stuff, and that 355 F is a warm vape. Both 10 wrap twisted 0.25 mm Ni200 2.5 mm ID. Ti is good in a DNA40 where Ni res is far too low.
