In The Box









The Griffin comes nicely packaged in a plastic clam shell box, the box contains your Griffin RTA, spare glass tank, spare o-rings,spare screws,hex key and a 510 drip tip adapter.

Drip Tip & Adapter





The Griffin comes with a wide bore delrin drip tip and a 510 drip tip adapter should you choose to use a standard 510 drip tip, no 510 drip tip is included.

Top Cap



The Griffin is a top fill tank and the fill holes are accessed by unscrewing this stainless steel top cap.

Chimney Parts





The chimney section is two piece, the top half incorporates the top fill slots, two nice big slots one on either side, the chimney stem has a nice wide bore.
The bottom half has 4 juice flow holes, you can control the juice flow by turning the tank when it is assembled.

Pyrex Tank



The Griffin comes with two pyrex glass tanks, one already installed in the RTA plus a spare.

The Deck



The deck has a two post design with nice big post holes, it uses grub screws to secure your coils, the Griffin is designed for dual coils only.
The deck also incorporates a retaining ring to tuck your cotton in behind, the ring is removable if you wish not to use it.
The base has fully adjustable airflow with two large cylon style slots, one on either side.

My Waffle

Really liking this RTA so far, it has a lot of nice features.
Top fill is great really big fill ports, you could just pour juice into this thing straight from the bottle, the juice flow control is handy when filling to prevent flooding.
The dual post design is a doddle to build on and yes VapingBad the screw holes do have a backstop to prevent wire clipping.
The deck is a nice size you can fit some large coils on there without crowding the deck too much and restricting the air flow.
Speaking of air flow there's plenty with the Griffin and it doesn't get restricted by a skinny chimney.
The overall build quality and machining is good.

This one is going to become a staple of mine at least until something better comes along.

Thanks Pauly the dual post design does make building easier, firstly the coil is central when you install it so no bending legs malarkey, also the way the post holes are set makes it easier to clip the excess legs off, the other coil isn't in the way.
Can i ask what software you use to do your slideshow vids, i've never done any video editing or anything but i wouldn't mind having a go.

Top fill and homebrew juice makes it a non issue for me though.

On my on my second tank already and I totally agree with you homebrew and top fill is a must with tanks like this.

I use Windows movie maker because it's free

Thanks mate i have the HCigar Fodi i bought from Myepack too i was going to do a review on tomorrow, i'll have a look and see what mess i can make of doing a slideshow.

Hopefully that's down to wicking as I really like the look of this.
I love my crius but the deck looks better quality on the griffin

I thought I'd have a play and got two clapton coils in there that came to 0.21ohms, I thought it'd struggle to keep up with the wicking but it just kept on going.
Very good tanks

Still prefer my aromamizers though
