Hard wearing regulated mod

I use my wismec rolo most the time and other large box mods but if I need something small and solid for moving around with then my evic mini is it.

Good wattage
Does ss
Great easy menu on a nice screen.
I can't fault it tbh and it cost me £24!

Step down in laymens terms means it will output a voltage that is lower than the battery voltage.

The Clouper Mini I recieved from GB today would be a fantastic work mod, tiny solid casing , single 18650 and good to 30w.
The early ones had a few QC issues but I have seen nothing since, cost me £12 delivered from Gearbest in a flash sale.

Yes mate I've seen that mentioned a fair bit too, from vapee 's review-

Theres also another issue some might experience when trying to vape at lower watts which is no step down so the higher ohm coils may experience less of an issue, but theres a work around which is to go into temp mode even for kanthal and then lock your resistance and you can now adjust the watts by adjusting the joules settings. This seems to then work fine but it means the lowest setting is 10 joules equivalent to 10 watts or possibly just less. Theres no noticeable pulsing however at these lower settings.

Buggered if I know what that's all about tho, I just use it as a tool

step down lets you run the atty at a lower wattage than the ohms/resistance wants to take from the batt
no step down means if you use a 0.5 ohm subtank no matter how low you set the wattage it will still give out nearly 30 watts to the atty, so no starting low and turning up

fwiw my evic mini in white is my out n about mod due to its size and simplicity of battery change, so far its had about 6 nasty drops, and if planning on dropping regularly i would recommend a lazy band round it to keep the back door on twice ive had to play frogger chasing the back door thats skipped across a busy road after a drop.. its survived well and im very impressed with the paint job, its a bit rough where its impacted concrete and tarmac but hasnt chipped off at all yet

As regular readers will be only too aware, I love my Sigelei 75w - it feels reassuringly solid in my hand, good screen, and changing batteries takes seconds by popping off the two magnetic sides (which don't rattle at all). All in all well worth the money in my book!

My IVPD2 made it through Ibiza last year and is still going strong, was wearing rubber but from memory it got wet twice and came back to life both times the morning after and dropped 3 times.
