Camera advice needed...

I don't really think there is much between the FZ18 and the FZ28..Probably some enhanced adjustment in the white balance, which most people including me don't even use.

They both have the same Leica lens and similar electronics which is the main thing..In iA mode it's brilliant as a point and shoot with plenty of manual options for the amateur enthusiast..

for quick action shots i love my DSLR... it has a cmos sensor which is very reactive as well as the ability to zoom and focus manually which makes taking a shot instant when you have it dialled in.... only issue is its size which isnt as convenient as a compact digital

a view finder is a big plus for me too when choosing a camera

i still use my old canon D30 as although it doesnt have a huge amount of megapixels it has some amazing optics and usability

these have been reduced in file size quite a bit but you get an idea
