Custard is my love in juice flavours. I think it will be hard but i seriously want to make a custard to my taste buds.

Yes we have been told your very trying 
just start with some well known and used recipes (plenty on this site) then as you get to know the concentrates you 
use and there different tastes you can then start to tweek things about to your own taste.

Im one to do my research before jumping in head first...so hopefully this will mean i wont get too many failures.

Im not a lover of mango minime but i can see that being a tasty juice

No reason you can't substitute the mango with something you do like
