I've been after a nice blackcurrant Bobsbeer that might work, which one does your OH use? She has used various shop bought ones, but I mix my own now using Capella concentrate, although I have used Inawera, and she also liked that.

I found that finding flavours that you like is the hardest thing for a new vaper(still is). I found Celtic Vapours RY8 2 years ago and it is still one of my ADV's now

How about tobacco juice with an added flavour. I'm thinking Manabush. Or buy tobacco juices and add a drop of ape/peach/vanilla concentrates. Lots of playtime ahead.

I started on ry8 this was the best I could find My dad didn't like this one after loads of trying he found one. It's made by diamond mist and could silver mist. I must admit this is the closes to a cigarette I've come across.

My wife was concerned that she wouldn't be able to get a flavor like her roll-ups, which I always disliked, however as that's what she smoked, we started with a local B+M which gave her their version, which she enjoyed, altho at £5 per 10ml, didn't seem to make any sense; I DIY and have done since I started vaping, so I started by trying her on Hangsen's Golden Tree, which is supposed to be like Amber Leaf tobacco, her fave. That hit the spot; next I bought the concentrate, and I now make her 50ml batches up which cost me about the same as that first 10ml from the local store - the trick I think is finding a flavor that is close to her cigarette flavor - not everyone wants fruit/candy/dessert etc - they need it to taste like a fag! My wife has never wanted to try anything I've vaped, and doesn't "get it" when I come rushing thru with my latest creation, that tastes as far away from a fag as I can imagine!

Menthols, people that hated menthol fags are often surprised that they like menthol juice.

Well done smarties and keep on trying. When I started i used tobacco flavours in a cig-a-like. I was only able to really move off fags when I got better kit (which you have done) and tried fruit flavours. Now I mostly spoke menthol/mints and custards. Have you made the nic contest high enough for her? Nick

Get a cherry too, as that's not bad either.

The £1 LiQuid folk www.onepoundeliquid.com/ have a good range and being a quid a bottle you can afford to take a punt,##i rate their lemon sherbet, blackcurrent (and i mix the 2 together sometimes) and i also rate their Hi VG range #1 and #2 im awaitiing a sample of their #5 and heisenburg atm. also the smoke rainbow folk www.smokerainbow.com/ will sell you sample 1-2ml sizes of lots of juice which could save an arm and a leg if you buy full priced premium juices just to try them out..

Hello, Smarties... I also wanted tobacco flavours when I first started vaping, (all of five months ago now!) and the free bottle I got with my first kit was from the eCig store, and even though they don't always get a good press they have a decent tobacco range. The one I got was their original 'tobacco' and I started out by mixing it in with other liquids... it has a mild sweetish undertone, and is a nice general eliquid. It mixes well with others, too- might help to get her onto other flavours. Good luck! Edited to add... well, I tried to paste a link to the flavours I mentioned, but they are not appearing... have I done it wrong?? Me and computers! just google for UK ECIG STORE Original Tobacco and it will come up.
