Right, i'm sure this had been covered many times, but as a noob i thought i'd give it a go..... because of work etc. will do it in pieces and concentrate on one element at a time... so may take a while to complete...
also, re price difference, you need to be aware that the LT comes nicely boxed with batteries and charger etc. Pv2 comes with nothing. so the cost of the LT as a device is probably about 60% of what you pay for the kit, making it an even bigger margin...
so, first...... packaging
Pv2(0/10) - unless you want to add 1 for bubble wrap. would have been nice to receive some type of container to keep the shiny expensive device in, probably offered as an 'extra' but mehh....
LT(9/10) - Its literally exciting to open the box. loads of goodies and very well presented... fits nicely in the drawer.

mine from freedomvape had a nice presentation box, with molded areas for all the parts..... just basing this on my experience. i assume anyone buying from FV will get the same going forward

gonna have to keep this short because of work, but second point would be look and feel.... here there is no comparison. The Pv2 is a monstrously well made piece of kit, it feels perfectly heavy in the hand, the button is perfectly tactile and you know you have something well built.
`the LT with battery in, still feels light and flimsy in comparison, i have no problem with the button but it does feel cheap ( and lets not forget, it is ). but i have no problem firing it up, it seems effective and has not misfired on me once yet.
But the two next to each other looks like someone parking their BMW M3 next to a Koenigsegg.. the difference is huge... but, we never smoked a certain brand of cigarettes because they looked better than others did we.......
Pv2 - (10/10) Difficult to think how it could be improved upon from a weight/feel/quality perspective
LT - (6/10) feels mass produced, and like its using minimum materials needed for the device. which i assume it is, hence the price difference. however, prior to receiving my Pv2 would have given a 7 or maybe an 8

I don't think you will have problems firing it up, I think that is nothing to do with the LT but is down to what batteries you use... Mine only ever misfires with the cheap ultrafire batteries in, and they are getting low, with my decent batteries in, it never, ever, misfires. Just thought I'd share that observation The buttons, all 4 of them, do feel a bit cheap on the LT don't they? And I think the end caps make it look tacky too, wish they had different ends.

Interesting reading your thoughts James, thank you for sharing them . . . more as a side note than anything, but a lot of the GG line doesn't come presentation boxed, although some Vendors will deliver them in a velvet pouch and some will source their own boxes. Personally I think a velvet pouch is a nice touch that any customer will appreciate when paying a goodly sum for a Mod, as Gordy says. The Provari was considerably smaller than I'd imagined. All that said . . . for the cost, the LT has been a great mod for me. Do I love it like the Provari? No I don't, nor did I expect to . . . but I am very happy with it.

as said, at least a sleeve to keep it in would have been good. it kind of feels a bit careless to provide nothing.... enjoying it immensely though!!
fingers crossed i am wrong but i think my LT may be defective which puts a hold on this process...
i can however give my thoughts on the control system. not from a technical perspective as i am a noob to this. and i believe there are certain button combinations that are available on the LT to give information that i am unaware of ... but here goes.
this is based purely on the usage as a VV machine, i am not au fait enough with the other bits that go along with it yet, so may even be superlative to include.
Pv2 ( 8/10) - like the idea of one button. takes a while to get the hang of it but seems to work well once you do.. bit of a PITA when you accidentally miss the option you are looking for and have to cycle through. screen is great, really nice quality and clear... still, apart from v+ and v- i've yet to learn what else i can do, or is it all informative information?
LT (8/10) - on/off button ( with other functions, some yet to be discovered ) is obviously great. a + and - button makes life easier on the fly if you just want a little more heat ( or less ). I think it is a good system and would mark it higher than the provari were it not for the lack of additional information provided and the quality of the screen ( which is to be expected at this price point )
both units have intuitive control but i'd give the LT the edge for use while on the move...

ProVari menu is as follows.
5 Clicks till
PU - Power Up, really don't think any explanation is needed 2 Clicks PD - Power Down 2 Clicks Po - Power Off 2 Clicks Cb - Check Battery 2 Clicks Ao - Check Ohm's on atty or cardo 2 Clicks Lo - Light off, yep turns the firing light off.
If you can navigate through a mobile this is far easier.
