I used to dread No Smoking day as I knew I wouldn't have been able to last out the day without a ciggie. What a difference e-cigs have made

I used to dread No Smoking day as I knew I wouldn't have been able to last out the day without a ciggie. What a difference e-cigs have made just like all the other big idea days/ weeks /months I ignored them, at one point on a "national stop smoking day" we had to hide somewhere in order to smoke whilst at work because our boss was a moron, on that single day less than a quarter of normal work was undertaken as more than 3/4's smoked and expended excess energy disappearing into hidden spaces en-mass to chain smoke with a brew (actually the only reason most of stopped chain smoking was to go and scrounge up a fresh brew), apparently that meant we missed a key target and we got a new boss the next week ......the new one asked one of the young troopies why we missed it, he went slightly pale and put the smoking area in front of all the team leaders office's, then he produced a non official time slots for smoking (every hour you were allowed 5 mins "rest break") overall productivity doubled, the dry January initiative was kicked off by that same bloke by handing out a 4 pack of beer on the first Monday morning back from xmass leave, opened the bbq pits and we had an unregulated party day... that guy was probably the cleverest boss I ever worked for Edited by Perpetua
