New Notch Coil & Theorem RDTA

I saw this this morning and surprised nobody else has posted it.


They talk about it about two thirds of the way through the video.


I think the notch type coil has potential if cut asymmetrically from the centre out maybe it could get a more even heat up than wire.

I don't think much of the Theorem tank I don't like the notch idea in the deck contrary to what they say I think it means you have to have the right amount of cotton in there so you will be locked into one coil diameter.  Also the coil they showed had a horribly long leg because of the post design.

interesting development perhaps? a coil of this type will need to present a balanced resistance throughout its mass between the contact poles any variance will generate hot spots i should think.

its good to see new ideas comming to market.. one should eventually prove to be a winner..

Yeah there is an endless amount of tweaking they could do with the geometry, maybe tweaking your coil with a Dremel will become a thing.  And they should be cheapish, very though and last a long time.

Now that coil looks very interesting - Hadn't even heard of it before this thread.

VapingBad - I think the length of the coil leg shouldn't make a difference as they are welded on and presumably non res ?

Been watching the info on these for a while, not convinced tbh
But then I have plenty enough wire to not be concerned
They would be very interesting to those that buy premade coils though.

My biggest problem would be the length vs attie posts

On the notch coil probably, but in the OP I was meaning it was poor atty design positioning the posts so all coils need one long leg.

I wont be getting one though 2.7ml tank is just too small regardless of inability to recoil or refill ....

Im surprised most other wismec stuff in china dont ship to UK addresses.
Joyetech and totally crooked have monoply on the wismec stuff so I was lead to believe.
