lets hope it generates the required support to be taken further, of course if we vote out in a few weeks maybe this will be the first of many EDM's to repeal various facets of EU law that are irrelevant or unappealing for the UK, well thers hope at least

It would help if we all wrote to our MP and asked them to support it. Simple and easy to do. Go to www.writetothem.com/, and put in your postcode and write away. The more letters our MP's get the more attention it will receive. If our MP's get thousands of letters about it they may well just support it. Every little helps as they say.
