and although it wasn't all by any means, the ones shown were enough to make me realise that there are now very few left who I feel I grew up with. A huge pool of talent gone.

I'm forever wondering when watching films etc., whether the actor whose name I suddenly remember is still with us or not, luckily google manages to answer the inevitable, and it really punches home when they are younger than you when they passed on.
