philvapes what's the draw like with the Triton 1.8ohm coils in the Melo III ?
I'm using the Melo III 0.5ohm coil and with the air control fully closed the draw is still way too loose for mouth to lung.

I don't see why not if it has a 510 or Ego connector.

ETA the tank you get with the COV kit seems to have a 510 connector so just remove the Ego adapter and use it, start at low watts and increase a step at a time until you get the vape you like.

The draw is as tight as you want it with the 1.8 ohm coils and you use a lot less juice at lower watts, I run mine around 10 to12 watts but they do go lower.

You can still do a lung hit but its quite tight but as for mouth to lug they are great, you can with the air controle

get it as tight as you want.

Prob with the sub ohm coils the hole in them is to big for mouth to lung even with the air controle shut right off and you have to run at a higher wattage with out the air flow.

I run 70vg 30 pg home made juice and im really impressed how much vapper you get out of these coils for a mouth to lung job.

My preferred vape style is mouth to lung at 12 watts, but I went for the Pico kit with the Melo III because it wasn't much more than buying the mod on its own. It's a nice diddy little tank and it doesn't leak
I've tried restrictive lung hits but I don't get the flavour on the inhale that I do with MTL.
I'll try and find some cheap Triton coils.

GunJack oh no! I did slip a cheeky red/pink one into my basket on Tuesday and that is saying shipped so it must be the more popular ones they are struggling to get. Had a missed delivery card through my door when I got home so I am hoping it is the istick 60w
