Had a fasttech delivery this morning and it looks like its been opened along the way. It's just a couple of orchid v2's ordered before may 20th but taken a while to get here. What i found interesting is the sticker wrapped around one atty - it says 'nicht konformes Erzeugnis - uberfuhrung in den zollrechtlich freien verkehr nicht gestattet' which translates as 'not in conformity - release for free conversion into traffic not authorized'. That sounds like a customs sticker to me. Makes me wonder if German customs are now checking stuff from the East? (They also appear to have swapped a pack of premade coils for someones front door key but that's just funny) Anyone else had customs issues post may 20th?

Is this the "Shape of things to come?" post TPD? That's what i was wondering. Surprised the package got to me to be honest. I would've thought they'd have destroyed it once spotted. Maybe we've got some leeway at the mo'.

I think they just pick random packets to open and check.... Think thats right GunJack..or a sniffer dog picks up a niff nearby? Impound it immediate. I have had them opened from many places over the years. Sometimes carries an apology from the Shipping Co or just bunged back HMRC style. The sticker should have Zoll or Grenz on it I think if official....if not its a company sticker? And the Key?

It arrived in a royal mail apology bag (Were sorry this has arrived in this condition etc), no Zoll or Grenz, just the text above and a reference to a 2008 regulation (765/2008). That appears to be about accreditation, which may fit with the tpd as non-eu companies are supposed to register i think. I'd agree that they open random packets, I was surprised because in approx 3 years of orders from China this is the first that I've had opened/checked. Just seemed a coincidence that it's straight after may 20th. As for the key - no clue.

Its them and their market surveillance @boxy. Accreditation of imports coming onto the EU market which your items are not....unless you are selling on as a business? Get your CE marking kit out quick. Looks more like a spot check as with many things they have created for themselves to do. And... oh dear, its a "for instance of health and safety" Somewhere in the following lengthy bollox it might refer to a private individual but I ain't going to look for it: eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=celex:32008R0765

Is this the "Shape of things to come?" post TPD? I'm beginning to wonder myself DiscoDes. Have a FT package which, according to shipping information, arrived in this country on 21/5/2016. So far no sign of it.
