Cloning A Systems Disc

My wife's computer started doing a check disk on start-up so I cloned a new hard drive using a free program(Macrium Reflect)It was so easy to do I wish I had done it ages ago to save all the nagging lol

Did mine recently, to a ssd used the Samsung program it was no problem and my laptop boots and is on line in seconds.

In windows there is a built in programme to burn a windows image for backup

Yeah, which is fine but cloning saves you installing everything all over again, and waiting on all the updates.

This is one a friend on another forum uses and loves www.xxclone.com/iwhatis.htm never used it myself, but have heard others give it a good report.

Very generous what they put into the free version. I've been using it for years and have done many restores with it as well.
