Tanks that work on some mods...

....but not on others. Anyone encountered this issue?

This has started recently with SWMBO's ST minis. We now have two that work perfectly well (reading correct ohms, vaping correctly) on certain mods, but not others.

They won't work on almost any mod I have except Sigelei mini book and OlaX Hero. And I have all the usual suspect mods, including a @windows built DNA200*.

I can't work out why they don't fire any more. They used to fire on everything!

Any help appreciated.

I have had problems with some ST Mini clones before.
Would be fine one minute then all of a sudden the resistance would shoot right up.
Positive pin on the base was slightly too short and getting an intermittent contact, got round it by backing out the bottom pin on the RBA head half a turn.

All this gear relies on certain manufacturing tolerances, and fractions of a mm make the difference between working properly, erratically, or not at all. Add a bit of wear due to normal use, and previously-working combos suddenly become unuseable, it's just a fact of life unfortunately
