Another noob

Hey guys n girls.

Mark from Falkirk here.

Been vaping for a couple of months now and just about to start mixing my own flavours . 

I just need to get a couple of things clear in my head though . I currently use the iStick with kangertech k1 and k2 atomisers . I have been buying 50/50 flavours and am aware if i want bigger clouds i need to change that ratio. Can someone clarify how these ratios apply, ie more VG for ????? more PG for ????? .
Am i correct in thinking if i want more intense flavours i need to use more VG?

Should i consider adding a flavour enhancer or sweetener to my order?

I dont want to walk around with a massive rig in my hand as i like the size of the one i use but would consider a bigger atomiser if it gave me a better smoke. I dont have time , patience or eyesight to make my own coils so what would be the best upgrade for me?

If i can get all the info i need here in one place i will be able to refer back to this as i spent all day yesterday going round in circles with so much info.

More PG = More throat hit

Some people claim PG carries flavours better but in my experience if it's true it's negligible i don't notice any real difference in terms of flavour potency.

Which iStick do you have it would help with recommending a tank to know the output limits of the device.

I agree with above
I use max vg and flavours pop lovely although I find steeping takes a little longer.
I would recommend the new uwell crown v2 tank for premade coils but be sure to get the latest updated coils as the first ones didn’t perform well

Hi Stomper and ... For subohm vaping I mix at 70-80% VG. The only way that I know to increase flavour intensity is to up my flavour concentrate percentage ... for example most folks mix Capella one-shot concentrate at 15% but I would use 20 - 25% as I like my flavour strong (my taste buds are shot after 40 years smoking).

The iStick is max 5.4v and 16.8w at 1.8ohms. Am i right in thinking some mixtures will be too thick for this type of coil?

All subohm means is vaping with a resistance of below 1 ohm (whether that's with one or two coils)

Sub ohm is a coil with a resistance below 1.0ohms unfortunately the device you're using the minimum resistance it will work with is 1.0ohms so it can't fire sub ohm coils.

I would recommend this it's small but can fire up to 75W and comes with a decent tank

Ive just had a look at a calculator. Am i right in thinking that where it says for example 4ml flavour if i decide to use a couple of different flavours just make sure the total amount is 4ml?
ie 2ml of one and 2ml of another.
