Hi and welcome NJK. I've seen you on the other place I'm repeating, but there is no such thing as a stupid question, better to ask than buy the wrong thing, or live with kit not working properly.

So looking forward to you reporting back Njk when you get your new kit I've never had any grief so far from vaping in public.

WOW! Thank you for the welcome. My battery is running low AGAIN! so I'm off to bed, I'll be glad when the new stuff arrives tomorrow.
Just another random thought, nothing lasts forever, so how much wear do you think is reasonably expected of the bits in my new kit? (can you see how technical i am? "bits") I'm sure this is going to be a how long is a piece of string answer just wondered if there was an average?

Well, you've lasted till tomorrow, that's a good sign. IMO, batteries should last 6 months (but longer if used often can be usual), but cartos can be from a couple of days, to a week.
It would help us if you told us what you got in your new kit.

Woke up to a new toy this morning OH got up signed for the order & charged up the batteries before I got out of bed. So I'm happily vaping away on a Riva . Its really good on first impressions, loads of vapor and taste, might take me a little bit to get used to the manual battery, but sure i'll not notice that by the end of the day. The kit came with 2 manual batteries, 2 atomizers, 10 empty cartridges and a free gift (which I think is some sort of drip tip? ) Looks good too, very pink!

Great news NJK! After a very short while it will all become second nature to you . . . and that is most likely to be a Drip Tip, which if you remove the cartridges, pop that on in it's palce and then you can direct drip. But, I'd leave that for another day.

You will soon get used to the button Njk One of the best things about the button s you can press it for a second or so to heat up the atomiser before taking a vape It's a shame you didn't know about being able to ask at check out for the atomisers to be swapped with cartomisers. They don't have to be topped up so often as cartridges. On the other hand though, atomisers are great for trying out new juices

It was mentioned Chrissie but thought I'd better stick to what I know.
I feel especially stupid right now, the 2 atomizers that came with the kit don't seem to be working anymore. No idea why. anyone have any idea's? I'm now using the one old atomizer from the other kit which luckily fits.
Surely I haven't broken them already? Is this possible in 2 hours?
HELP!!

You could try blowing through them into a tissue and then cleaning the threads

Are the atomisers heating up at all?
