Having to take it apart 2-3 times first day to avoid flooding/burnt taste.... and making the hole larger as appropriate.
Can change the mix to 70/30...find 100% pg right now and it's a disaster (flooding with even the smallest of holes),,,,
Have a carto punch (siam mods) so how many turns after the pop do I need to make or what do I need to do?
Currently have like one hole....do I need 2? Just don't want to run out of cartos trying to find out. Using boge cartos - have a chibi tank.
Any help welcome
Jane

I don't know, i've only punched 1 carto and the hole was quite big. I'm currently using a 'pre dotted' carto in a small tank from the GB. I thought I would have to make the hole bigger asI couldn't imagine that it would work with this tiny one, but it seems to be working fine! Or rather it is now that I've put the flanged carto in properly after it leaked all over my LT Cleaned the LT up using alcohol wipes and I've left it drying. I'll try it tomorrow, hope it still works as it was in a bit of a mess, juice in the button etc I'm not sure if this tank I've bought will work with cartos without the fange Why can't vaping be more simple?

I have found that a 1.2mm drilled hole is perfect take them to a local engineering firm and ask if someone will drill them for you as they are stainless steel and the drill needed is very small so the drill will need to be run very very fast

The other advantage of drilling them is the cartos dont distort which makes them easier to insert/take out of tanks

But how do you get them to stay still? I mean sellotape on my table or what? Thats why i suggested taking them to a engineering company I had 20 drilled took 5 mins, you will struggle doing it yourself because a hand held drill will struggle to get the revs required to allow you to use a small drill, also its stainless steel you are drilling

If my husband isn't around to do it for me, I get a sharp screw, a hammer, and hit the heck outta it, when I can catch it that is, coz I usially have to chase it around the shed for a bit #icon_rofl# But River has made a good point about distorting it, makes it harder for my ones to go into the tank, had to wack one a few times to make it rounder again # #

juices vary quite a bit in viscosity so its really a bit or trial and error to see what works for what juice
as you make your own Jane you are in a good place to adjust it to work better my advice for thicker juices is to use two 1mm holes.... if its not wicking then you have the option to add some PG to the juice to thin it a bit or to make the holes slightly larger
if you are getting too much juice eg flooding you can always cover one of the holes with some tape
hope this helps
