I have just started using this although I have had it for a while, however it has developed a fault, no matter what battery I put in it keeps saying check battery. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Does anyone have any suggestions please? I have an issue with one of ours, similar to this (the other one is fine, to be fair). Does yours also have the coil resistance jumping around all over the place? Mine does. Higher-drain batteries help, and sometimes it can go for a couple of weeks before it happens again. One day when I have time I'm going to strip it down and look for loose/poorly soldered joints and try and fix it. If I have any joy, I'll let you know  |
