I vape on about 1.5ohm coils, mtl
Whats best in the kayfun, spaced or tight coils?
Thinking about it, spaced sounds like it would in theory give more vapour?
Tight will just heat up quicker?

I prefer spaced as there's less chance of hotspots and I find they don't spit as much

I use spaced coils in my sxk V5 and subtank mini RBAs, kanthal, nichrome, stainless. I changed over to spaced from contact coils as they seem less prone to the dreaded gunk.

tbh it depends on the size of the airflow on the atty I'm using and the size of the coil tc seems to prefer spaced in ss but I gave up on ni200 till I get a dna claptons seem to work better touching mini goblin likes spaced nini atty has to be micro coils cause its so ruddy small
only thing I can see making a diff to the vape is if you got the spacing bang on you may get better vape production because of the possible lager working aria(but I doubt it lol)
I have spent hours messing about with diff types of coils and it seems to be all about surface aria and that why I likes fused claptons or parallel coils
there is no such thing as the perfic vape it a con to keep us spending ;p

Spaced wraps have to let more vapor out, as touching wraps restrict the escape of heated juice imo. I could be completely wrong here though.
Also, I haven't noticed any difference in ramp-up time between them, but spaced coils seem to cool quicker.
And...... no hot spots with spaced, as previously stated.
My tuppenceworth, but each to their own.
