You have no idea how many hours I've thought thro and mulled over how I could mill/machine metal so it'd fit into a lump of wood and look as good as that.

That is a really nice "lump of wood" too.... I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Got it finished at last apart from a final polish.
Smallest one ive done so far, too small for an 18650 so ive gone with a 1s lipo.
Fitted the bottom bit of a battery tube to give access to the battery when it needs replacing.
