It looks like excess juice from priming the coils. I closed off the juice flow and fired it a few times, then braved it for a toot. By that time the wick was starting to dry out, so opened the juice flow slightly and it was fine. Re wicked it today, never primed the coils, filled it up and half opened the juice, let it sit for 10 minutes and have been using it all day with no issues. So, in a nutshell Tom, yep a wicking issue. I dare say if I increase the amount of cotton, I might be able to open the juice flow fully, but I can work with it the way it is just now. Still a bit of trial and error but at least my frustration level has sudsided and the hammer is back in the shed.  |
