John Smith's Highland Malt 1 tobacco

Received from Chef's and mixed up at 8% today.

Been really wanting to try some tobacco mixes (delighted kreed baccy one-shot is now available!)

Highland Malt seems to be nice even as a shake and vape. Subtle whisky flavour - dont really get a huge tobacco hit but a lovely aroma and already seems smooth. Very slight whisky after taste - seems like a nice, soft and undemanding vape :-)

Absolutely lovely with a cup of coffee :-)

Were You surprised that the taste was soft, smooth & subtle?...
Reason I asked is that a couple of years ago, when I was still searching for THE baccy juice, I got a loada 1ml samples in from SmokeRainbow (sadly gone now...) & one of 'em was billed as made from real tobacco & real scotch whiskey. At the time, I was disappointed with it:- it was too....soft, smooth & subtle for Me, & I remember scoffing at the idea that whiskey could taste that sweet.
F/F to last July:- I steeped some Borkum Riff 'Bourbon Whiskey' pipe tobacco in PG for a month to make a NET flavour.......& that IS the taste of tobacco topped/cased with whiskey!!

I make a bourbon tobacco. You've given me the thought of actually putting a splash of the real stuff in it.

Coil gunker? Maybe.

djs - funnily enough, my ingridients for Kreed's baccy arrived today - just as the one-shot was released

I made up a baccy tonight based mainly on Kreed's (I didn't have AP) using Kentucky Bourbon concentrate - that concentrate smells amazing and is the prominent flavour from a shake and vape - the only thing I can't taste? The tobacco.....

I used a dark FA tobacco @ 3% - maybe I should have hit it a bit harder?

I also got a dark chocolate concentrate today which smells fab......added that, hazelnut and the FA tobacco to another experiment....

Bourbon tobacco with real whisky

6% De Luxe tobacco (Inawera)
2% Red Oak tobacco
4% Vanilla Bourbon
3 % Caramel Candy
and some whisky... about 1ml in 30ml.

Tastes fine already on the Velociraptor!

Let's check out the gunking though - It's quite dark and the signs are there for coil mayhem.
