Just ordered a mech squonker from Ryan at Rockmodz should be about six weeks looking forward to this one Nicely done mate! Hmmm... i think im coming round to mech squonking. The guy in my local vape shop reckons the a mech would have more battery life than the pico squeeze.... anyone know why he thinks that? I reckon hes bluffin bish. The squeeze is only a fancy mosfet mech, I cant see the chips in it draining much of the battery life. IMO the only way the squeeze wouldnt last as long as a mech would be the battery cut off point . As a case in point, I used to run my RTAs on DNA 30s (no step down) set at 3.7volts (by the watts)and the batteries lasted the same amount of time as when I used a mech. It was 1 of the reasons I went back to using mechs full time.

The only other thing that may swing you towards a mech would be if you want to build around or below .4ohms which I presume would be the squeezes lowest ohms going by the 50watt limit in the specs. If your curious and have the spare cash its probably worth checking 1 out, if you dont like it they seem to hold there value for resale. At least they do while there still trendy lol.

thebishman Again, not trying to put You off a mech. but imo, it's only valid to satisfy shiney-itus. I like My CV, & may end up getting the brass one as well....but the Squeeze vapes just as good, & works great at 0.3 ohm for Me.....

The board would use some of the power, but that would hardly be noticeable, more likely it's the sort of battery contacts used having a far higher voltage drop than mechs. I don't know what they are like in that mod, but if they are anything like those sh1tty Keystone sleds or contacts it's not suppressing. (It is not that they are bad per se, fine for torches or mp3 players, but nowhere near good enough for ecigs IMO).

So are you saying that a mech could be better for battery life because the squeeze mod might be let down on contacts? I get a full day of satisfying vaping with a charged battery so im very happy with it. But if a mech could last longer before volt drop occuring then that could sway me.

I use the narda at 0.4ohm and have to use a plastic drip tip to keep the heat down

Can't vape that low... to strong a vape for me.. 0.8 to 1.0 is where i like my vape..full flavour and not too hot. By the way, apologies for not being around much the last few days, the new forum is taking up quite a bit of my time, but its all up and running fine now, and getting busier, so you will have to put up with me more now!!

Yes, if they are poor contacts, but I have not seen one close so I have no idea if that is the case just a possibility.
