Even if you're now happy with the Fuchai, don't let the bastards get away with it - contact the CAB and/or write them a letter asking for a refund. The law is on your side, and you are entitled to a refund, whatever they say, especially if the fault can be replicated. The problem with going into the shop alone is that they can simply deny the conversation ever took place, or that you misunderstood what they said, so always go with someone else who can be a witness and can also give you moral support.
