djs - Mine arrived today too....

Although, first time with an RTA, I have been slighlty less successful...

Following a Russian video on YT I have managed to dismantle it (good so far...) - bought a pack of pre-built A1 Kanthal coils (1.0ohm) from FT (good so far..) - have now managed to wreck 3 of them trying to attach them to the effing thing....let alone putting it back together....

Frustrating....to put it mildly.....

Lynne77 - I'm sure if you have any expertise with an RTA, you would be fine. This is/was my absolute first time of "playing" with one....

I think I'm gonna try to find someone locally to show me how to set it up.....or wait for the next London & SE vapers meet

ghostrider1971 no, it's my first RTA too. I have done some re-coiling though so hopefully I'll manage it

I'm just hoping it's as easy as a Kayfun or Serpent mini as those are the only ones I've been able to coil so far, using pre-made coils obviously, find them ok although the Serpent can be tricky to trap the ends of the coils sometimes.

Anyone who's got one tell me if it's as easy as them two?

I ordered mine on the 14th of feb and its still not arrived.
Thats the last time i pay an extra 59cents for speedy delivery.

As it happens guys and girls, I did actually use a UD pre-made coil. (I was in a rush)....

It took me while to guestimate on the cotton wool. I just looked at and asked it for the 'vibe'...

I had no idea what to do with it other than run the cotton down the channels and poke it around the base section beneath the deck. It is logic perfected really... the bottom of the cotton sits in a lake of e-liquid. Genius stuff....

TJ it's less easy to get the coil in place but the wicking ought to be very forgiving, unlike Kayfuns.

I'll try and find the video ghostrider1971 .. and see how it went for that person.

You have somthing of similar diameter to put in the coil while your screwing it down?
Stick with it, the benefits of being able to recoil RTAs will be worth it.
Whole new world an all that.

I think it started going wrong when I was trying to wrap the ends (legs?) around the post thing and the whole thing started unravelling..... :/

I think I will definitely see if I can grab a local vaper and ask for a hands on demo...

I would ask in a local B&M but I know it would be countered with ".......and what 200 quid of kit can I rip you off with...?" (NB - This is NOT a reflection of all B&M's - just sadly the ones local to me!!!)
