I think the v1 was the best they made. The little locking washer was a good idea on the v2 I think but the coils do not last 5 minutes from what I've seen the last few months. My mate has been using one at work and is always moaning about the coils. He uses the raph coils for it and just swaps out the contact pin as he reckons they are better

like the original V1 crown the coils were recalled a day after the tank was released but as there was already 3 coils in the box they got a very bad write up as they were the original coils and were naff. v2 coils work fine.
forward a year and the same happened with the newer crown 2 but this time the coils were recalled twice as both sets released were crap. the V3 coils have finally settled and work fine but i found a work around. the crown 2 also takes the rafale coils which have been perfect from the get go so personally ive not even tried the v2 and v3 coils as ive got shed loads of rafale coils for £2.50 a pack instead of £10 (thanks ecigwizzard) but sadly this offer has finally run out but was on for at least 3 months.
i cant tell much difference in flavor but i love both tanks and have got 3 v1 and 2 v2 tanks on the go.

I always though the revised Crown 1 coils were considered the holy grail of factory coils. If not, permission to chew my Panama?
