Noooo. Not Buckie Eeeeevil stuff.

Buckfastleigh isn't a million miles from me, about 20 from where I'm sat at the mo, but it took until a few years ago for me to try (and regret trying!) Buckie. Not very common on shelves down here, no bad thing.

Buckie is very popular in certain areas of central Scotland. I've even seen it on optics in some less than salubrious pubs. Awful muck but cheap and very potent.

Yup, seems like so much of it goes across the border that there isn't much left for down here. You really have to go looking for it.
