I've got some of the Darkstar nicotine concentrate. Does it need to be kept in the fridge before use? No it doesn't have to be. Freezing it or refrigerating it will help it keep longer but it'll be fine for a year or so just in a cupboard out of the light and coolish.

I decanted a litre of Darkstar VG nic into smaller bottles a few days ago. The litre bottle was plastic and had been in the freezer since October, so I let it thaw out for 24 hours before the transfer to 100ml glass bottles. The nic was only slightly straw coloured but I did notice a really very strong tobacco odour during the decanting operation. Didn't have to sniff the bottles to notice it - the room stank of it. It's been back in the freezer for a couple of days and I had a sniff today and it seems almost odourless. I need to make up some juice and test it very soon as it's the only nic I have. Darkstar price today for the litre bottle is £30, compared to the £40 I paid in October.

Twonks!!! Darkstar are twonks!!.... if they hadn't tempted me earlier I could have saved £20 on that last 5 litres in fact, if 'd have waited, I could have had 10 litres now for the same cost as the last 7.5 litres I've had off them... double

I'm using nic over a year old and it's completely clear
