Having discovered that I like cartos better than attys, thought I'd better find out which ones are best to use with my riva 1100.
What difference does standard and low resistance make? and the same question for duel and single coil.
also can all of the above be used with my riva?

LR will give you hotter coil and more throat hit.. SR coil will be mellower and more vapour and battery life will be better.. Avoid dual coils.. You can use all of them on a RIVA ..I would advise 2 ohm and above for your RIVA..

Why don't you like dual coils macca? I 've nothing against dual coils.. I don't think they'll perform well on a RIVA..

dual coils and LR (under 2 ohm ) don't get on very well with Riva batts and tend to burn them out , the Ego batts fare a bit better with LR and DC

the lower the resistance the hotter the coil and hence more vapour and a harder hit with a riva its not recommended to go lower than 2.0ohms as there has been accounts of the battery failing bottom coil cartos are also an option and offer a slightly harder hit than an equivalent rated vertical coil i'd disagree on the dual coils and find they offer the best vape of all cartos ...there are two coils as you'd imagine so you get to vaporise more juice but at a lower heat coil ...plus they hold more juice
