It can take time, look at how many Americans still don't believe in evolution, but they need the techniques to test this brand new phenomenon properly. Add that to the more generally accepted data on risk reduction and opinions will change.

I'm guessing here, but i suspect that the average has been brought down by things like the quick fire to check coil resistance, accidental firing, etc...wouldnt think the software would be filtering things like that out nesessarily...any thoughts anyone?

IIRC James took those very short puffs out of the data recently, you can join the forum and ask or make suggestions, I'm a member with 127,145 puffs recorded so far. My avg puff over about 18 months is 3.5 seconds, 40 W at 363 F, though more like 50 W recently.

I asked if they would amalgamate stats for all devices a user owned and they did, go ask them anything about the stats, you may have to wait several days for a reply they are not the most commutative people.  And you can download your own stats and load them into a spreadsheet or database if you like.

There could well still be some short coil pulsing in there still, but they have the base data and can do a better job of cleaning it as they learn more, you sedom get things things perfect when you are the first to do it.

It surprised me as well - like you I'm normally around 5 or 6 seconds average

I'm about 3 secs avg ATM, but I would guess 60 W+ vapers would be more like 2 secs.
