I am having problems with an Istick 20w and want to send it back.
How do I do this?
By Post and lie about the contents, or arrange for it to be picked up by a carrier?

Honesty is the best policy lobeydosser but it doesn't always get you what you want or need. On this occasion a wee white one will be acceptable IMO.

You can send it via royal mail (apparently) but it needs to be inside a device if ive read it correctly. Dunno if thats business or public use tho the RM site is very vauge. Its going to cost more as it sounds like they have to put a big sticker on on it saying 'DANGER EXPLOSIVES' lol.

whats wrong with it?
and how did you receive it. in its original box in a jiffy bag by royal mail or courier. if it can be sent out that way then sending it back shouldnt be an issue.

I used to declare mine when sending at post offices, but if asked, the battery is connected to the device. Don't forget that bit, or they may refuse it. Also best if sent in its original box. As phtumshk , says:

Maybe (probably) I'm missing something. Where do you want to send it to?
I would certainly send registered signed for, they're only £25ish on Amazon, the postage could be just as much.

I bought it from Eleaf last year. Bought two, used one and put the other in the cupboard. Got it out yesterday and when I put an atty on it, it fired up for about one second and then I got a message saying "Low Atomiser". This atty is okay on all my others Isticks, so there is definitely something wrong with this Istick.
I cannot remember whether it came through the post or by courier.

You don't need to lie. And it doesn't need any sort of sticker.

If I am asked what is in the parcel, then I'll lie, but if I'm not asked, then I'll keep stume.
Our local sub-post office is a bit airy fairy with their rules. Then again the whole post office system seems to be airy fairy with the rules.

The rules are simple. But if you find a clerk who has no idea, they have a bar coded guide to follow. Needs to be in a box. No extra cost is involved. They should always ask what type of thing is in it, so it looks like you already knew which way you were going to play it.

If anyone is going to send anything dodgy through the post then they're going to lie about it, so a rather redundant question. Any parcel I send now I say that it's plumbing parts, and I've never needed to post any liquids, except as a standard letter in a small jiffy so just popped in the letter box.

Well, in the end I did send it by post and it came back the same way, repaired!!!!
I was asked about the contents when I sent it and, yes, I did tell a porky. The main thing is that I have a working I-Stick back.

Glad you have it back. You probably did the right thing by telling a few porkies. The PO clerks would probably have run for your big hills if you mentioned LiPo etc. It was in a device, so no problem. The last time I sent something like that I said it was a phone. That has a battery and they didn't blink an eye lid.
