I'm getting rather fed up with mixing and failing with crap recipes, so begrudgingly I'm looking at getting on board with the one-shot gang here. Can we start a thread here that's Dedicated to ranking tried and tested one-shots from 1 to 10 (10 being best) in your opinions and at what percentages you have tried them at please . We all know tastes are subjective but it can give us a good idea of what to go for and hopefully not waste too much money

What an absolutely marvellous suggestion A few to begin? 1) RA - 15% - 9/10 2) Heisenberg - 15% - 7/10 (It's good but missing a little something - just not the same as pre-mixed) 3) Lucky Shot - OSDIY - 0/10 (Still got the serious hump with this one!) - absolutely tasteless at 10/15/20% after a month 4) Mexican Ice Cream - 7/10 - Loved it at first but find it far too sickly now. Wouldn't buy again 5) Kreed's Baccy - 8.5/10 - (15%) - Always go back to this one....

Interesting as I'm thinking about buying some of the Mexican ice cream. I think I'll go small for a test

1) Lemon tart (Divine) - 15% - It's nice but Chef's Tart au Citron, for me, is far better. I reckon 20% would have been better (7/10) 2) Peter's Secret (10%) - Mango and menthol madness - 10% - VERY potent and a VERY acquired taste.... (Rating depends on the day!) 3) Lotta Latte (OSDIY) 15% - I find this perfumy and overpowering - chucked more than I've vaped - 4.5/10 4) MARRY Christmas (OSDIY) - 15% - Surprisingly good - spicy Christmas cake - 8/10

Ones I've tried so far. RY Whore - love the stuff and have a tank available constantly. Kreeds Custard - a little to sweet for me but enjoy. Looking at a recent post by kreed and will add tobacco and coffee. Anthony's High Lime Mojito - a surprise for me and loving at 50/50 mtl. Rhodonite - another one shot constantly in a tank. Chefs Strawberry Juice and Summer Days would recommend. Red Astaire and Heisenberg are occasional for me, nice but not an ADV. Recommend some of the bestcigliquid tobacco concentrates such as Old Captain, Ghost and jury out on Sultan. Chefs Blue Lush and Tickle me Pink are ok Not tried Mexican Fried Icecream but have some steeping Kreeds Baccy, Krypton Ice, Lotta Latte, Lucky Shot, Kimbers Blend and Southern Smoke are so so for me. Have Gin Orange, Legend, Glory. Grandma's Lemonade, Clear Storm, Jack The Ripple and Jaques Le Mon steeping at the moment

Nom Nomz monkey brek 10/10 for me best banana custard going mixed at 20% for you i would say 25% T juice jack the ripple 9/10 raspberry ripple mixed at 16% again for you i would say 20 ish Alchemists cupboard vanilla fudge 10/10 mixed at 16% again for you 20 ish CAP v2 LMP 8/10 mixed at 20% for you 25% i know most v2 versions are crap but to me the v2 is better than the v1 chefs lemon drizzle cake 8/10 mixed at 20% again for you 25% T juice forest affair 8/10 mixed at 15% again for you 18-20 i use a lot of one shots nowadays jtc and tbh i find they work out cheaper in the long run but like full diy its finding the ones you like mate once you have done that then its so easy to knock up very good juice that is consistent. But again like full diy you will still want to try new ones. So i tend to buy a new one or two with each stock up shop as try me outs some work some don't. only reason i say add more than i do is you seem to like strong flavours i would say try some at the recommended % as if it is too weak all you need to do is add a bit more to your mix.

@broadblaster - I've certainly been caught out with mixing too weakly a few times recently - I usually following the "recommendation" or just add a couple of extra percent. Something I found really galling recently was waiting ages for a couple of juices to steep and they were weak and washy and then reading on a FB group that the manufacturer mixes them at 5-7% higher than they recommended on the bottle. Frustrating

Gosh where to start jtc . . . . . Galley Rats Pudding IOC - mixed at 30% + 1% sweetener is one of my favourite oneshot custards. All the IOC concentrates I've tried have been good, this just stands out for me. Ginger Rogers Chefs - although it's not difficult to recreate a similar taste with Capella's Gingerbread as you know. Strawberry Vapetto Chefs - a really nice Strawberry vape, the fruit flavour doesn't peak off especially either. Jessie The Yummy Range - one of my favourite fruit combo's. Jelly Candy & Harvest Berries Capella - are another 2 fruity blends which although not oneshots as such, stand up well against them for me. Turkish Delight Mixology - I add a little FV Chocolate Deutsch and it's yummy. Cinnamon Danish TPA These are just some I've tried and enjoyed, no ratings as I enjoy ( almost ) all the oneshots I try, even if it means tweaking them a little to suit my tastes.

Frustrating This is so true ghostrider1971 but if it is a bit weak its easy to add a bit more with a one shot but if you find a full diy mix is lacking you never know quite what to add more of .. like do you add more of everything or just add more of one flavour. With one shot you do at least have a rough idea of what you going to get with full diy it can be more of a risk. Also you can spend so much on different concentrates that its bloody scary when you add them all up.

@broadblaster - I agree with your comments entirely I have been spending silly money on concentrates recently and have been caught up/out in more than a few over-hyped fads (too much social media...!) I'm seriously curious about the "super concentrates" I bought from Rainbow Vapes last week - mixing them at 2.5% seemed very strange

I don't think I'll totally stop full DIY but I've had a crap day trying tests today so I'm considering my options.Once getting a good DIY recipe then it's a hell of a lot cheaper me thinks. Saying that though I have oodles of part bottles that are constantly mounting up

Thanks for the info guys. Please keep them coming on here as it's really interesting It may or may not help if you told us what sort of flavours are you looking for mate, iI would seem from your posts that you do seem willing to try just about anything but you must have a few favourite flavour profiles.
