You would just download the file, double click it and the Theme Installer would open, you click yes and job done. You would have to had install Theme Installer or EScribe first.

The only adjustments you would have are Watts and Screen Brightness in this example and it would work fine with non temp sensing wire. The bit where ist says "Evolv DNA" would show the status messages like check battery Etc.

Ah right i can get that i just about understand that bit and i thank you for being patient and doing this to show me how it could / can work 
BUT the thing is you can do this and make this theme for me as you know how it all works but say i bought a mod with this set up / board and did not know 
a person with your skills then i would be up the dirty creek without a paddle 
I do wonder how many people will think oh look i can alter this and that and then render  the mod useless until they can find a man with your skills and understanding of how these things work.

They plan a Theme sharing site where people like me would upload themes you can download for free, it is not expected that most users will edit more than a couple of little things like a background image and the name I put on the lock screen.  Evolv will be shipping the boards with a pretty basic theme, but manufactures are free to do what they want and customers are free to change theme whenever they want.

Can you write a step by step instruction for russ for setting up the basics? See if he can follow it. No being patronising to him atall..but id like to see if someone with his tech-NO-logy mind would understand it?

Changing the backgrounds to personalise a theme you download is very easy, these are a few of the screens from the first post, you would just do it once for each pic. It took far longer to do the screen shots than change the theme.

I do get what VapingBad has explained but its the how you would go about doing your own theme without a very good insight on how 
these thing work mate.
I just have a vision of say somebody say err like you getting hold of one and thinking oh look i can change all these setting i wonder what this one does 
and changing a important setting thus making it unusable.
