Would be hard to miss I'd think given that you'd have to push aside some of them to take a pew..

a typical 10 ml bottle is only around 22mm diameter, so only 90p to post if I read the new postal rates correctly... I've received a 10ml bottle of juice in one of those little grip seal bags and an ordinary thick brown envelope with a large letter stamp on it before. I can't remember who from now though, it was a while ago. It was fine, not ripped or anything.

I always play safe with my postings I must admit Anne be it packaging or postage paid. Possibly some of the parcels I send Parcel Post, could be persuaded to go through the large letter ' test ' slot . . . but I can think of nothing more frustrating for the recipient than to have a card from the PO for underpaid postage of 5p & a handling charge of a £1 ( or whatever it is now ) because an over zealous RM employee has decided it doesn't fit through the slot " easily ". So I don't do it because my luck being what it is.

I do remember thinking at the time it was a blooming cheek Perpy as the seller had charged £1.50 for postage. I didn't buy from them again, just wish I could remember who it was.

The rule for a large letter is maximum 25mm thickness. The test is to be able to put it through the 'large letter' slot on the Royal Mail plastic board with only one finger and your thumb and without using excess force. As quoted to me by our Royal Mail Account Manager
