No, that's 2 x 0.75 (ish) coils. I think I have Kanthal though... pretty sure I've not put that thin steel stuff in there.

I'm using the Oumier Wasp Nano on mine.
Cheap as chips authentic atty that vapes very well. With a 0.4 ohm ni80 coil in there it vapes a treat

Have a SS316 Clapton 26/30 with 4 wraps 3mm coming out at 0.38ohm, claptons don't usually do well on mechs for me, but I bunged this one on it when I was on the way out and in a rush - great flavour.

The Odis and Narda are good on it, too.

Finally got a chance to have a go at setting up my new gear and after lots of swearing at the Odis o atty I managed to get a build in, that although still isn't sitting as good as it could, will do for now.
Just couldn't get the coil 'side on' enough to the air holes as I would like for some reason.

Anyhoo ... 5 and a half wraps of 0.4 Kanthal with a 3mm diameter coming in at 0.8 ohms, wicked up, soaked up ,bottle filled and ...........

.............. Squonk !

Have to say that I'm quite impressed with this dinky set up so far. I'm probably over squonking for fear of a dry hit but so far so good.
Think I need to look at a few more build examples on the odis to get the coil position better and it whistles a little but so far so good.

What gauge ni80 are you using ? Hoping to have my squonker finished this weekend and got an odis for it. Might try one of them ni80 thingy's in it.

.5mm 7 or 8 wraps at 2.5mm dia will be in the ball park of .4ohms

Best wire ever for mechs ramps as quick as SS with out the vape being like red hot magma.

Great first build mate nice work.

You can definately get more flavour from it by tweaking the position.

Also...try experimenting with putting a bend in the legs before fitting...i tried that on my last build and it fell into place.

Yeah, I think that's where I fell down, I went for straight legs then tried twisting it in position with the clamps still slack.

Didn't work as well as I hoped due to lack of tweezer room.

Still getting good flavour but I reckon more patience next time will pay dividends
